What will computer science look like in the year 3000AD and why?

    You need to look into the concept of The Singularity. Assuming we don't wipe out ourselves and planet Earth (always a good chance of that), we have no frigging idea what life, science, computer science, computers, technology, biology, or humankind will be like in 200 years, let alone 1000. The concept of The Singularity is basically that technology and its impact on humanity is and has been accelerating at a faster and faster pace. Eventually there will reach a point where technology has such a huge impact on us that we will no longer be human. Whether we become uber-humans, gray goo, or sucked into an alternate dimension has been a recurring topic in recent science fiction and speculative non-fiction. Whether transcendence or some lesser transformation, many believe this change will actually occur sooner than later -- perhaps as early as 2050 or 2100. So to answer your question: Computer Science in the year 3000AD will probably look just like it did in 2500AD or even 2100AD -- it will look like Magic. Maybe with a touch of Hell. There is no way to know even slightly what it will look like. I'd recommend reading http://www.futuretimeline.net/ for fun but that's about it, you'll have to read sci-fi next. A thousand years into the future is unpredictable especially for such a new field, it might as well be extinct because there is no more use for it.
