What is the best leadership/ business summer program for high school students?

  • I am planning to major in business management in college, and I really want to find a very good summer program about business management or leadership. When I did research online and College Confidential, I found there are lots of summer programs which make me feel irresolute before make decision. Does any one know any good leadership/ business management summer program for high school students? Thank you guys very much.

    Economics for Leaders by the Foundation for Teaching Economics is exceptional. Applicants must currently be in Junior year and must successfully complete the 11th grade by the summer of 2013, but I don't think there are any other such age requirements. No standardized test scores are required, but it is competitive. http://www.fte.org/student-programs/economics-for-leaders-program/

I've worked with young entrepreneurs for over 10 years and the best High School entrepreneurship program I've seen is http://www.catapultideas.com/They help high schoolers with ideas find teammates and help students that want to learn about startups find teams to pair with.They have a summer, fall and spring program each year and accept 50 students to each (From around the globe).  It's fairly competitive I've heard they accept around ~20% of applicants.from their website:"Our Catapult alumni have generated $3M and have gone on to attend the world’s most prestigious universities such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and UPenn.Catapult focuses on real world entrepreneurial skills, not classroom stuff. Each team gets 2 professional advisors, access to free legal and branding help, growth strategy advising etc.  At the end of the 3 months, you pitch your complete (in most cases already running startup) at Demo Day to investors who might provide seed-funding"
