Where can I find computer assistant jobs?

What jobs can a computer information systems degree typically find?

  • I am currently in School earning a 4 year undergraduate degree in Computer information systems, notice it is not computer sicience, so there is a difference, this is also a degree thats inside the school's business department. I am exploring the possible jobs I will be doing in the future so I can plan ahead and maybe starts to earn my Certs.

  • Answer:

Four-year programs also usually offer a chance to specialize or major in a particular aspect of IT such as network configuration and management, database management, enterprise computing, information security, or software or game design.  What's great about an IS degree, is you can work for any software company, if you want to code programs using .NET/Java/C++ etc as you should have a foundation of a coding language by the time you graduate, even if it's entry level.  Or you can go the route of being a Project Manager, where you aren't necessarily coding per say, but you are managing a project with a team of developers.  http://www.computertrainingschools.com/information-systems-degrees/
