An Audio Visualization Website?

What is the best way to implement data visualization overlaying on a website ? An example interaction would be overlaying a heat-map on a web page.

As a new comer comes along to first digest the content, and then look at the comments, time will have passed by. (It will be information overload too) As a company or an organization, they are very interested in inputs from others, however looking through the comments one by one will be a huge investment on resource. As a tool, I would like to build an interactive tool that somehow access user activity content on a website and turn it into meaningful information. (I was wondering what is the best way to go build this type of tool without revealing too too much)
