Would a Science Degree get me into programming?

I am an electrical engineering student from India, but I am very good at programming. I want to do a Master's of Science in computer science abroad. Is it possible to get degree in computer science?

  Yes. You can get admission in a different field for MS in universities abroad. Typically, one of the important paperwork for applying in universities abroad is the SOP (Statement of Purpose). Just ensure that you give a good solid reason why you would want to change your field, and support it with examples to show your interests. For example, you can show that you have done some projects (as a freelancer) etc, that showcases your strong inclination towards CS. In spite of this, the departments may ask you to take up some courses as a pre requisites and / or admit you on probation basis, to see your performance in the initial semesters. In my opinion, while you are still in college, try to take up some projects in CS, preferable for some company. You can also participate in technical fests and apply for internship in this field. This will boost your chances of getting admits.
