What are some interesting acceptance stories during campus recruitment?

In the technical round for Ericsson, I said Accenture instead of Ericsson. TWICE!I had cleared the written and GD round for Ericsson when it came to our college. It was 1 in the morning and we still had two more rounds to go. Not that we were tired or anything. When my name was called for the technical interview, I was asked general question, where did u do  your summer internship, what did you learn? As I had done my internship from a communications company, i could easily answer the questions put forward (I was from CSE background). Anyways after the general question, the interviewer asked me why i wanted to join Ericsson. Me being prepared for the answer started a 5 minute rant saying i am interested in Networking , want to join Ericsson for networking .... yada yada ..., and that my cousin is also in "Accenture",  and then I stop!I ask the interviewer, "Did i just say Accenture?" She smiled at me and nodded her head. I am doomed! I start again " I totally didn't mean that I want to join Accenture, No! I mean Ericsson! " Now this job offer is not coming to me definitely! I am scared now, but the interviewer does not say anything negative and just lets me go. I had now prepared to go back to my hostel, knowing I am not getting this job EVER!But I think fate had different plans. I was selected for the HR Round and was eventually selected for Ericsson! I am now working here since the past 2 years, and still think it was a stroke of luck which brought me here. P.S : I was rejected by Accenture just a week before it, probably that is why I only talked about Accenture.
