How can I study online effectively for a long time?

  • While studying online whether from a website or from an ebook i could not concentrate for more than 15 mins. There are lots of things that divert my mind online. What are the habits should i follow to study online effectively?

  • Answer:

    It needs a little self discipline. You can begin by doing this. Keep a notebook beside you when you are studying on the computer. At the end of each 15 minutes or half an hour try to note down what you have learned in this period. Initially you may  hardly remember anything but if you can continue for few days you may be able to increase your level of concentration.

CLOSE ALL OTHER TABS!! Practice restraint. Remind yourself of why you are studying, why you need to study. And don't worry, it's normal. You'll get used to it and slowly regain your concentration span.

At few inputs: jot down important points while reading from online. This will increase your  concentration. Focus and study only one topic at a time, then take a break and start again. During the break: recap what is read. Let me know how it works.

You can set goals and it will tell you how much time you are spending on achieving your goal, productivity percentage etc. At the same time it also motivates. Give it a try its awesome.
