What is the '10 must visit' places in Pennsylvania?

What are some must-see places on a 10-12 day visit to India?

  • We are a group of 2 guys planning to visit India this October for a duration of 10-12 days. The places which we want to visit are Delhi, Agra and Varanasi. As a friend of mine already visited most of Rajasthan (the Golden Triangle) we are looking for alternatives to complete the trip. Any help will be much appreciated.

  • Answer:

It really depends on what kind of climate and activities you like. But I will take a shot -   1) Agra Fatehpur Sikri (can't die till you see the Taj) 2) Tsomgo (Changu) Lake and Nathula Pass, Sikkim Gangtok 3) Lahaul - Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh. 4) Kumarakom Backwaters , Kerala 5) Khajuraho Temples,Madhya Pradesh 6) Chandanwadi Pehelgam, Kashmir 7) Leh Palace, Ladakh 8) Arambol Beach, Goa, India 9) Andaman and Nicobar Islands 10) And I would goto KanyaKumari For no other reason but to stand at the tip of the peninsula of India. Ten is too restrictive, being North Indian I guess most of South India is ignored here.

I have been to India previous year, truly full of colors and festivals. Moreover the month you are planning to visit is the festival month in India. The places you are planning to visit sounds appropriate to travel during this month as you will be encountering the most beautiful and vibrant colors over there at this time. Apart from Delhi, Agra and Varanasi you can consider vising some places in southern India like Kerala which is well known for its beautiful backwaters. Also you can visit some hill stations like Shimla, Munnar, Nainital, Mussoorie and many more. If you have already planned on covering Delhi, Agra and Varanasi, you could go up north and visit Triund, Shimla, Manali, Leh, Kashmir... Choose one or two options from these as covering all wouldn't be possible. Or else, you could visit Goa if you are fond of beaches. Backwaters of Kerala: 3 days. Manali (Himachal Pradesh): 3 days. Kashmir: 2 days. Travelling : 2 days . \U0001f60a The above are the minimum days you should spend at these locations to completely take in the beauty of these places. There are a lot of other places but these should be on top of you have only 10 days n you want to enjoy max number of locations. Edit 1: Do try to visit kerela in the time you have. It would be great at the time you are planning to visit.
