How to integrate Twitter?

Why don't Foursquare Twitter Updates (by users) integrate the business's Twitter accounts?

• The business name of where I check into is automatically included in my Tweets through Foursquare. It would be convenient for the users and the business if this name was automatically their twitter account. It would also incentivize business owners to set their account up through Foursquare since their twitter account is something they would have to add themselves.

• Answer:

  We've considered this, and might make a change like this in the future.  One thing that we want to be careful about is spamming businesses.  If they check their at-reply feed to talk to their customers they may not want to see this feed polluted with foursquare checkins.
