Only if you share photos on your Facebook timeline. If you keep them on Instagram your photos will remain private to you and your Instagram followers.

Yes, your friends will see your posts. I believe even if it's private. I think Facebook can't detect if it's a private account or not.BUT, if you don't want people seeing your pictures through facebook all you need to do is go to SETTINGS spinwheel located at the top corner on your instagram profile. Next go to SHARE SETTINGS", then "FACEBOOK" and turn off the section that says" SHARE LIKES TO TIMELINE".Hope this helps :)!
