How can I find what email marketing service other organizations use?
-
I send out e-mail blasts for my organization and want to know which service to use based on the emails that I have received and liked from other organizations.

The easiest way is just to ask - if that's out of the question you can take a look at the URL of the links in the email. Most ESPs will have a tracking domain setup there that will redirect to the proper link after being clicked for click tracking. Most of the time going to the base domain will lead you to a blank page with a little info about the service. Or, if that doesn't work you can view the headers of the email and find the Return-Path, you can then look up the root domain and see what company registered it by doing a using this tool http://mxtoolbox.com/Whois.aspx. This will then give you the information of who registered the domain unless they chose to keep the info private.
