"Home Inventory" by Binary Formations has the most extensive functionality I have found. You can track photos, receipts and wararnties for items, create insurance reports and manage insurance policies as well. There is a trial version that supports up to 10 items, which is good to see how data is entered and managed. It costs $14.99 (US). http://binaryformations.com/homeinventory/

Also look at MYStuff by Minder Softworks. it does all the normal stuff (receipt, warranty, photo, report printing) but has a bunch of other features you can't find elsewhere (iPhoto integration, online manual searching, print web receipts direct into the application). Personally I've found it way more flexible than any other inventory program, and I like that it organizes by category (i.e. home electronics) than by room. It's normally $29 but there's sales on it a couple times a year. I picked it for $9 on MacUpdate a while ago. http://www.mindersoftworks.com/products/mystuff
