Is there any extension for Chrome to open a new tab with the url in the address bar in Mac OS X Lion?
-
When I use Chrome in Windows, I get a new tab when I input a url or some key words in the address bar and then press Enter with the help of Chrome Toolbox extension. But this extension doesn't work in Mac OS X Lion, is there any alternative one?

Answer:
You don't need an extension to do this on chrome for Mac OS X: Just press command-enter when you want to open what's in the address bar in a new tab. This is almost the same trick I use for duplicating the current tab quickly: I hit cmdâL and then cmdâenter immediately after and I get a new tab with the exact same content as the current tab.
