What type of video editing equipment is used to create a white background effect such as in the Apple product demos? (link below)

You could just use a well lit white background such as a muslin or white backdrop. White bedsheets, however would allow too much light through. There are many ways to achieve the effect. 1. You can use a screen on the background. A properly lit screen, it can be either white or any bright color that you'd like for your video. 2. Most common and easy method is to use a green/blue screen, keying technique. This technique uses a green/blue screen on the background and the screen can be replaced by chroma keying method. 3. If the video features a product being displayed from different camera angles, then everything is made on computer. Every element is CGI including the product and the background also.
