What are some cool jobs out there?

What jobs can you do that allow you to come up with lots of cool ideas without having to implement them?

  • I don't really consider entrepreneurism because there's a lot of implementation there, finding the right people, putting together a team, etc. And fashion designer I don't consider either cause that's just one industry. What I mean is is there any jobs that allows you to come up with broad ideas that are not limited. For example, I would say Steve Jobs not really because all the ideas there are limited to iphone, ipad, etc. if you know what I mean. Like one day I can be like I'm going start a business selling boba tea with ice cream at this place and the next can be coming up with a new kind of vaccum. Meaning, don't want to be restricted.

There is nothing like what you are describing, unfortunately. Coming up with ideas is not work, and you only get paid if you do work and provide actual value to someone. I have read about a few people that somehow manage to make a living pitching movie concepts in Hollywood or being the "idea guy" for an advertising firm, but these are rare and unsustainable. Ideas are a dime a dozen; it's execution that counts.
