How do I play audio in both speakers and headphones at the same time in a Windows 8 HP laptop?

This is a trick I came across while goofing around.* This is how headphones are connected normally: THIS is what makes both speakers and headphones work at the same time: Try to ensure that only the first ring on your headphones jack are inside the port. Put in your headphones slowly until the you hear the first *click*. That should be the position. This works on my Samsung Windows8 laptop.
