Is there a way to convert files from Adobe Photoshop to PowerPoint?
-
Are there any tools available which can allow me to convert an Adobe Photoshop PSD file into a Microsoft Powerpoint (PPT/PPTX) format without loosing image arrangement and attributes but all the elements preserved slightly.

Answer:
There are converters for PDF files but I am not aware of any for PSD. My suggestion is that you maintain the image within Photoshop and save a copy as a JPEG for use in the presentation.

There is no way to convert directly to PPT. What you are looking for is slicing. It helps you convert slices(sections) of your PSD into smaller fragments which will then be individually stored as separate images. Then you can use those images to where you would like. Look into converting layers in to slices. There are some scripts also which will store different layers into individual images.

Are you are looking to keep a LAYERED PSD file in layers so that you can manipulate their contents in PPT, for instance, animating each layer in at a separate time to build your image? If so, it is relatively easy. If you are planning on using your image full screen in PPT, make sure your PSD is 1920 x 1080 pixels for a 16:9 widescreen presentation, or 1024 x 768 pixels for a older style 4:3 presentation. Save a copy of your PSD if you are using any GROUPS so that you can convert them to a SMART OBJECT by Right-Clicking on the group. (unless you want ALL the individual components of the group as separate pieces in PPT.) Choose the EXPORT LAYERS TO FILES option in Photoshop (...in the EXPORT menu or SCRIPT or AUTOMATE menu depending on your version or Photoshop.) In the dialog box that pops up, use PNG-24 for the file type and ONLY select the TRANSPARENCY option of the options below. In PPT, select a totally blank slide and drag your exported PNG files on to the slide, starting from the bottom layer and working to the top. You can then SELECT ALL layers and ALIGN center, and they should all line up exactly as they were in your PSD and can now be individually animated. If you have chose the TRIM LAYERS option when you exported, the ALIGN in PPT will not work correctly and you will need to manually align all your layers as you wish.Keep in mind that certain layer styles and blending modes other than NORMAL will not translate correctly to PNG format.
