Which is the better display for macbook pro: matte or glossy?

Which is a better computer, MacBook Pro or MacBook Pro with Retina display?

• I want to purchase a macbook pro. I normally use it for browsing the internet, I dont play games that much, but I do like playing Age of Empires III. I will start school later this year so I may be using it for school as well. My main concern is storage. The macbook pro has 500Gb and the macbook with retina has only 128GB, also the Macbook pro has a 2.5 processor and the retina 2.4. Does that make any difference? To be honet I dont really store much on my computer, but I always like to have the option in case I need it for school. I do own a 1tb Harddrive tho.   Well, the SSD based one, while having less storage is going to be much, much faster.  And the retina display is a nicer screen.  If you're going to be spending lots of time in front of the screen it's worthwhile.
