What are some reputable programs for high school students?

What are some good summer research programs for high school students?

  • I am looking for either a summer research internship, preferably paid, that would be suitable for a rising high school junior. So far, I have found programs like the George Washington Carver internship at Iowa State University and an internship at JCVI. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  • Answer:

In my opinion, the three best programs (in order of how good they are): Research Science Institute at MIT (5 weeks, all-expenses paid) Simons Summer Research Program at Stony Brook (7 weeks with a $1000 stipend, though normal expenses aren't paid so the $1000 makes it all-expenses paid) Clark Scholars at Texas Tech University (7 weeks; all expenses paid with a $750 stipend)
