Which shoes look better?

Which brands of men's shoes are great for walking and don't look like something my grandpa would wear?

  • Looking for shoes that are very comfortable for walking around a city. I don't know much about walking shoes, but the ones I've seen look like old man shoes. I'm looking for something more business casual.

    From back when I worked at an "old man shoe store"... If you're looking for business casual, I'd go with either Ecco or Mephisto. Mephisto makes an incredible shoe -- by far the most comfortable I've ever worn. They'll cost you a few hundred bucks, but after that purchase, they'll resole them for something like $65 -- basically the shoe comes back new, so it winds up being a decent investment.

"Puma" has pretty good lightweight Men's Casual shoes and they look great. I have found most lightweight running shoes help with walking - I also love "FILA" for that. Try http://Zappos.com for other options.
