How do you sell a SaaS product which hasn't been developed yet and even the company hasn't been registered?

What are the legalities involved when selling a SaaS product which is yet to be developed and even the company is not yet registered. How to get interested people to pay in this situation when the registration of the company will take time for processing and you don't want to lose the customer during that time?

I'm going to answer this purely from a sales perspective, and not touch on legalities at all. I'm not a lawyer, and I don't want to be one :) You close the sale by creating a minimum viable pitch, and getting them to pay you money upfront. It doesn't have to be the full amount - just enough so that they have some skin in the game. When we started our service company, we sold our services before we had a business/logo/website or any kind of credibility. The principles are just as valid for SaaS products, and I've helped many founders sell their product before it has been developed.
