How can I get a job in advertising in Romania?

How do I make myself stand out? I don't have a degree in communication. How can I succeed without an university degree in this field? I study foreign languages right now. I also have a photography portofolio. Will that give me an extra chance?

Probably a good start would be to meet some people in this field. Join some local Facebook groups or offline meetups and start networking. You may try to apply for some internships if you can find any, as those are supposed to teach you the things you need to know. Although those may require a degree too.
