How much can an international student in Norway earn per month and what is the basic cost of living for an average student?
-
I am from Nepal.
-
Answer:
The state financed student loan is NOK 100'920 for 2015. This is considered sufficient for basic living during 10 months of the year, the idea being that the last two months you either spend at your parent's or earning you own money. Your biggest unknown will be the cost of lodging, which can vary a lot. If you add at least NOK 5'000 per month on top of your rent, you'll have a general idea of what's needed for a basic standard of living.
