What are tax accounting classes?

What are the best ways to learn in audit and tax (accounting) classes?

• I took an accelerated summer course and didn't learn much because everything was so rushed. Surprise surprise, I am not doing that well in my advanced tax class. I feel that what I should have learned in my introductory federal tax class was a good foundation for the material being learned in the advanced class, but as I said, I didn't retain any of the information (not only did I take the accelerated program, but I also took the advanced tax class one semester later). The same story goes with my advanced audit class. What do you suggest?

  Get addicted to auditing and tax planning first though they look pretty annoying in the first sight , and try to practice a lot about the relevant questions to get familiar with those methods as accounting is more about a practice-oriented major. I learn it this way.
