What color scheme should i go with?

What color scheme should I choose for my bedroom that will go well with a big orange and yellow oil painting?

  • I have some black furniture, an white couch, a beige book shelf (I can paint it black), and a yellow-Orange painting of musical instruments above my bed. I'm looking for decor suggestions for bedding, cushions for the couch, (anything else?) etc. that ties the room together and gives it a theme.

    I'd go shades of blue.... But if that's too cool if hit the yellow again

If you like pink and turquoise then why not have your room these  colours with the added addition of white to tie-in your white furniture.  First of all I would choose the bedding - which I have come up with this set which I think is beautiful, fresh and  bright.
