How do you report someone on facebook?

How can someone report a page that bought fake likes on Facebook?

  • I am sure that a Facebook page I know has purchased likes. Number of likes increased in one day by the thousands, and most popular city is now Istanbul, even though the page is in Hebrew. Is there a way to report this to facebook?

    I wouldn't be so sure. A jump like this could also be from heavy ad spend, and Facebook ads can screw up the demographics of your page in this way if you don't carefully target your ads to the right countries, interests, ages, gender, etc. That being said, you can report a page here: After you click the "Report Page" option, you'll get a list of options. Check the "I want the Page taken down" box, and then select the "It's spam or a scam." Radial button.

Why would you want to? Are they a competitor?Think about this… If they did buy likes then it sounds like they may have bought ‘a pig in a poke’. Almost useless likes. Worthless! Possibly even detrimental ‘Likes’ when you consider the ‘Likes’ cost money that will never return a profit.Wouldn't you want your competition buying ads to markets where they will never sell anything? Sure, you might report them, and maybe Facebook will take action but I'd put my energy into something that will help me.And it’s quite possible that there’s a community in Istanbul that suddenly discovered the page and spread the word. If you report that you'll have wasted your time and the staff at Facebook’s plus maybe the page owner’s for nothing.
