Why am I unable to study that much that I think, I am preparing for GATE 2015(ECE), Need a solution for my problem?

    Do not get frustrated. It is not easy. It takes time. If you give it a time you will find it easy to prepare for GATE. Here are some tips which I think  will help you preparing for it. Make a rough plan  to cover up all the chapter (All the chapters should be covered) Start preparation as soon as possible. Stick to it. No excuse. Nothing. Every day count how many days left for the exam and prepare accordingly Do not waste much time on other things such as things out of syllabus Do not worry much about CGPA. Keeping CGPA above cutoff for gate is enough Must  do all previous 10-15 years question paper completely. This will help you the most. Have the confidence you can crack it and start studying. Give more stress on mathematics and 2 mark questions. Keep your fundamentals always clear. Practice as much as you can. Discuss with friends. It helps a lot. Give a test series of any reputed institute like Made Easy or Gate Forum etc. By giving these you will actually know about question pattern and gain experience for giving objective kind of test and also you will be able to measure your standard as per other student so that you can change yourself better to crack the exam

From starting itself, our tendency generally becomes to  start reading of 10 hours per day, completing the syllabus and papers. I will do this and that, I should complete this much, etc etc.... Yeah, it's a normal experience. Please don't target too much from starting itself. If you can read 2-3 hours per day or say 60-70% content of what you targeted, it's ok. Not bad. Once you get the momentum,per day target completion will become easy. Don't panic much. Just keep going, keep 'screwing' your mind. Don't think much and frustrat about this. Just concentrate on the study. Every night revise the whole day and try to find the loop holes, where you wasted your time, where/what improvements can be done,where you were distracted, etc. Best luck... and wish me back. ;)
