Can I be a computer technician with a degree in Computer Science?

Should a technician working for Caterpillar Inc. pursue a degree in computer science or business administration?

• I am more interested in the field of entrepreneurship then my current machinery industry. I would like run my own Internet startup/business after graduating. Which Bachelor's degree will help me more in achieving my goal? (I run Ubuntu/OpenSUSE/Linux on my laptop and am also a sales agent for a telco company.)

  Computer Science.  If you are trying to do a tech startup, it's most important you understand tech - you can always learn business later.  Business skills are worth something, but without understanding the technology you won't be able to build a business around it.  That is, even if your plan is to hire other people to build all the actual technology, you'll need to understand what they are doing, what & why things are difficult & time consuming and what's easy, etc.  Business degrees will just teach you about cutting costs & organizing people - but if you don't understand what those people actually do, it doesn't matter how good you are at making presentations and drawing org charts.
