In a few words, I'd like to read a book to understand the technical language on the business side of startups. Equity, dilution, intellectual property, stock options are some keywords...

Thanks for the shoutout for Mastering the VC Game, David. Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki and Start Up by Jerry Kaplan are oldies but goodies. Bill Draper recently wrote a good, historical piece called The StartUp Game.

After I graduated from the university I spent some time building and growing several web projects with my friends. We were young and inexperienced, and obviously, did a lot of mistakes. Now, when I look back, I clearly understand that we probably were able to avoid some of the mistakes just by reading the following 3 business books. - âThe Lean Startupâ by Eric Ries - âReworkâ by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson - âDelivering Happinessâ by Tony Hsieh Read my full Medium post on this topic here: https://medium.com/@tigranhakobian/3-business-books-74f8a936ac92#.ncuqdh3fk

Lots of good suggestions here. In addition to Brad and Jason's blogs, anyone considering taking outside funding should read Venture Deals. They do a great job of explaining jargon, demystifying venture capital and even telling a number of VC "secrets." I wrote a brief review of it here, if you are interested in learning more about the book: http://infochachkie.com/venture-deals/
