Which is the better city for college studies, Pune or Mumbai?

    It has got to be Pune. Awesome weather, has loads of hangout places, Pune is near to many holiday destinations. Hence its by far the best city to spend your college life and probably settle too. P.S: I am from Mumbai and I also studied in Mumbai for 3 years. Now a final year undergrad in Pune

I have been living in Pune for last 1 year and Have been to Mumbai often. One thing needs to be pointed out and that is Transportation. Mumbai is far better than Pune in that aspect. In rest aspects, definitely Pune is better to live, Study and Enjoy. Hope this helps. :)

Pune University has grown larger than Mumbai University. Pune has emerged as the second largest university of the country. Pune University has 811 affiliated colleges comes second in the most no of colleges in the country whereas Mumbai University with 711 colleges is at fifth position. The pattern of Pune University is a bit difficult than Mumbai University especially the paper checking :-P I have myself studied in Pune so I would rate it better than Mumbai. :-)
