Question about tracking conversions from an ad that has a utm tracking code, using Google Analytics.
-
I am running an ad in another company's newsletter, and we put a utm tracking code in the URL that links to our landing page. I can see the number of visitors arriving at our landing page from the ad in our Google Analytics panel. I can't figure out how to see which of these visitors went all the way through the conversion funnel. I've been shown a method that uses regular expressions, but I'm looking for something lighter and easier.

Answer:
I believe the first link in the conversion funnel must be your UTM parameter. Danie l
