There are hundreds of B-Schools with varying needs, expectations and deadlines. Did you know that colleges look for a personality match too? Like if you're a numbers guy, MIT might be your place. If you're very progressive in your thinking, you have a chance of impressing the folks at Stanford. Inevitable though, most colleges look for evidence of: Leadership Excellence / Performance Experience You convey your "personality" and the above, through these multiple parts of your application. With the best colleges, there are a few ways of doing it right and a 1001 ways of messing it up. I suppose they charge for navigating you through this ordeal. Note: No, I'm not an advocate of these institutes (I rather, wonder how they sleep at night or live with themselves helping students who otherwise-don't-exactly-deserve-to-get-in concoct applications and SOP's that present a person better than they actually are).
