Has anyone experienced applying to recruitment companies who will place you in the film industry?

What is the best place/area to stay in Mumbai, if you want to get into a mainstream or top notch film in the film industry?

• Any other suggestions that you may have about this process? Apart from your suggestion of a place to stay, I would love to hear some practical advice or suggestions you'd have with regard to becoming an actor in Mumbai.

  A lot of the auditions for the actors are happening in Andheri, Versova, and Oshiwara. I see that YRF and certain film industry schools have been marked as topics. YRF is quite close to Film Writer's Association, Andheri. Whistling Woods is in Film City -- it's close to Goregaon station, but staying at Andheri would do, since you could study here, do auditions in Andheri and other places mentioned. I've seen actors coming to MHADA at Andheri(W) for auditions -- you see guys with booming biceps travelling in autos, bikes, cars to the places where the auditions are being held.With ref to practical advice and tips, I am not sure what I can tell you in particular.
