Where i can get MBA internship in Bangalore?

Should I do a CA or MBA? Can I drop my MBA after completing one year in an MBA college if I have scored better in next CAT exam?

  • i am completing my graduation in june 2015 I want to give CAT 2015 because i have not yet started preparing for CAT so can't give 2014 cat. I was pursuing CA.. I have cleared group 1 IPCC. ( But this is going to take a lot of time so I have decided to get an MBA degree and start earning asap.) if i give cat 2015, i'll have to take a year drop. i can do some job/internship/work with an NGO/do computer courses during this time. but it still feels like 'what if i am not able to crack CAT after wasting this year?' i am really confused as to what to do. Please help me. should i clear IPCC group 2 and do my 3 year articleship? or should i give MAT/XAT/SNAP and settle for a mediocre MBA college? or should i prepare for CAT and give 2015 exam? If i join an MBA institute in june 2015 right after i complete my graduation and after that i give my CAT 2015 and get good percentile.. can i leave that college and go get admission in a better one? Thanks for reading through this. Help would be highly appreciated. God bless you. love.

  • Answer:

If you remain so confused then you will gain nothing. .set your goal first...MBA or CA...if MBA then take your time,  prepare well and join...if you join a mediocre college and think of appearing CAT again chances are high that you will perform worse than this...Why?? Bcos wen u could perform to this level when you were free then how would you perform better while studying for MBA?? U wont get time to sleep so forget preparing. .Plus your fee wont be refunded. .so you are losing atleast 5 lakhs of your money. ..take that into consideration... So think properly and focus on one thing..running here and there won't give u much.

Drop CA because it's not a course for impatient and confused souls! No offence meant. Pursue an MBA! Start preparing for CAT. Take up a job for now, preferably one which is not too demanding. And shelve ideas that you'll give CAT again and change colleges! That is ridiculous! You are completely ignoring that B schools usually charge a bomb, add to it a year wasted. Don't take admission in any college just for the heck of it, enroll only when you get into a college of your choice. Plus, all the while you'll be working so it's not like you're going to be idle. Even if you enroll for an MBA in 2016, you'll be making up for it by gaining work experience which adds value to one's resume. All the best.

Aha? What a Question. I am CA Final Student. and i face this dilemma every now & then. And seeing you facing the same dilemma makes me remind of my time. This indeed is a doubt of every student who is from commerce background. Where MBA is more about presentation & personality, CA is more about financial information, accountancy, taxation etc. So choices matter. Everyone of us have different perspectives in life. You have yours & i have mine. But considering the general scenario i would say that you should pursue both as a CA + MBA is a deadly combination. And many people are doing the same. First they complete their CA & then enroll themselves for the MBA. You can also refer this video which i personally found very useful when i was thinking of the same.  MBA with CA MBA With CA ICAI CA IPCC CA Final Students Attention Please CA With MBA And if you wish to know more about the CA Course then you can subscribe this blog which provides free services to its users regarding chartered accountancy course. CA and MBA both are competent course. While CA gives you high Return on Investment (ROI) than MBA. This is so, because you can finish whole CA course with approx of 5 Lakhs (Taking expensive private tution too) whereas, you need more investment for MBA. One think I love about CA Course is No one ever asks from where you have done CA and whereas MBAs' are asked the same question. The reputation of college holds the weight of degree. Think wise and think twice before making any decision. If you are going to prestigious B-School then prefer MBA but if you are settling for those colleges whose degree don't carry weight then prefer CA. All the best !!

Dropping any professional course doesn't make sense as you have to stick to the path which you have chosen. You can try going for one year MBA program which is conducted by many colleges. One of the good ones which I know is SOIL ( http://www.soilindia.net/ ). This college is located in Gurgaon and provides placement with decent package.

I think I will be able to answer this question I am a ca and currently doing MBA from NMIMS , Mumbai. I don't think doing an MBA from a mediocre college would be of any help as the average package are not good and you might end up spending anything between 12-20 lakhs on MBA to get a salary of 6 -8 lakhs. Doing ca would not only be beneficial in terms of knowledge but in terms of salary in the long run as well !! Plus ca would take three years while an MBA would take 2 years. Ca would be much cheaper and a better option. Second question regarding dropping a year if you get better score.... Yea you can do that. U can join a better college if you improve your scores. :) hope it helps !!!
