What is the best way to get an investor to buy into an idea of investing in education in West Africa?

I see a bit of a problem with the premise that there is an eduction system in Africa. There are education systemS, as many as there are countries (at least, some may have regional organizations, and especially in rentier states there often is a huge gap between the national, official system, which will primarily be in place wherever the government and maybe the natural resources are, but very little in rural areas) So it may be that your market isn't all that well-defined and that puts investors off. It can also be a (perceived or real) lack of knowledge of the ground (if the first sentence of your pitch makes an investor think you don't know what you're talking about, it's hard to come back from there) Second thing is that investors usually don't invest in pure ideas. On this, just like a tech start-up, you'll need a proof of concept, a Minimally Viable Product already deployed on the ground. That means you should at least have found some partners, have some clients (or people with an engagement letter saying "that, I want and would be ready to pay for"), and a team people can get behind. Finally, because that's an obvious big question in something like Education which is not easy to monetize on large scale in poor areas, you need to have a very solid business model.
