Does George Carlin's view of life strike a chord with people under, say, 40 y.o., as it does with many ex-hippie types nearer 60?
-
George has some little "philosophical" monologues, available on YouTube, that clearly express the "gamesmanship" and social channelling that operates on all of us. He digs through some layers of bullshit to get down to a rather cynical, but surprisingly accurate, picture of the worst of our society. His humor displays his views pretty well.

Answer:
I am 22 and I really enjoy Carlins humor and looks on life. I wish more people had the same kind of cynical outlook on society has him. We like to sugarcoat to much bullsh!t which causes a lot of problems. I especially enjoy his view on having not stake in the outcome of the future, but is merely here for the ride/view.
