How to get better at business??

I just recently graduated with a masters in management and am looking for a job while having no prior business experience. How can I find entry level jobs in project management and how can make myself a better candidate to get that type of job?

  Having a Masters degree and no experience is nearly the same as having a ton of experience and no degree. You have to keep applying everywhere you can until you find something that sticks. Some people suggest starting in a different department and then moving your way into the department you want. However, if you are not a good networker, this will blow back in your face and you'll be stuck in a job you hate. Others suggest starting at a temp agency to see if you can go from a contract to full time employee. This usually doesn't work because the company doesn't find it in their best interest to pay you more for the same amount of work. This is what I like to do when I apply for jobs of high interest. 1. Post your resume on multiple websites. 2. Find a posting to a job that interests you. 3. Figure out who the manager is in that department of the company that is hiring for that position. 4. Email them directly requesting a meeting and advise them that you can forward your resume over as well. 5. Physically mail them your resume. 6. Try calling them to follow up to schedule an appointment to at least meet. Don't forget to make your cover letter as unique as possible, since your resume is lacking in content. Good luck!
