Which are the top institutes for GRE in North India?

Shouldn't the top brass educational institutes of India like the IITs, AIIMS, and IISc be ISO 9001 certified?

  • Recently, I have read that ISO 9001 certification leads to higher operational excellence in manufacturing and service industries. This has been shown by various studies in automobile industry. Since the education sector lies well within the service sector and considering the quality of higher education in India, top educational institutes of India must be ISO 9001 certified. I would like to know which institutes have ISO 9001 certification ( anywhere in the world). How the quality of educational services changed there after the certification? Please discuss what impact(positive or negative) will the certification have on higher education of India. Are there any policies of Indian government for higher education which are inline with ISO 9001 standards?

    You have to understand that those are educational institutions and not manufacturing industries. ISO certifications are mostly regarding operation excellence. Truely speaking, education excellence is certainly not related to operational methodology
