What are some ways to make extra money while in college?

What are some good ways to make decent money before attaining a college degree for someone who is relatively anti-social?

  • For someone currently taking studying in college. Probably more introverted than anti social. But I'm tired of front line customer service jobs dealing with both management and customers.

Trying a website like Elance (http://elance.com/) might be a good start. They actually have tests you can take to prove your skill with Word, Excel, etc. Also, it's a slow start but Fiverr (http://fiverr.com/) could be a way to build a resume: sell your skills for small jobs and work up as you get positive reviews. Last thought is to check out online job boards like Craig's List, etc. and see what's available. Maybe a small job will give you some good experience to build that resume or you could find a lasting position. One of my first jobs I did not have much experience but I impressed the interviewer at my ability to learn quickly during a typing test. I have a feeling that you're probably a lot more computer literate than I was so proving your worth should be a cinch. Best wishes!
