Is there a Chrome or Firefox extension that restricts "full-screen" videos to within the browser tab only?

• When I watch a video on YouTube or with any other flash player (live streams of soccer matches for e.g.), full-screening the video tends to be frustrating, since I'm not able to do other things simultaneously in the browser. However, I'd still like the experience of viewing the game full-screen *within* the browser tab. For example, this is a screenshot of a live-stream I am watching: When I full-screen the video, my entire laptop screen is taken over by this video. What I'd like to see, however, is this: Is there an extension that is able to "confine" full-screen to within the browser tab?
