How do I start my own PR firm?

Who is the better PR firm for a digital media start-up: OutCast Agency or BrewPR?

  • Answer:

Brew, by far. I find that team to be far better for entrepreneurs. They help build companies from the ground up, they don't just take them to the New York Times. Many times that's the WORST thing an entrepreneur can do. Just ask Color! Plus Brooke Hammerling (founder of Brew) has great relationships with EVERYONE. You should see her media dinners. The "who's who" of tech press shows up. Plus, have you looked at OutCast's website with an iPhone? Flash! Eeewwww. You really want them representing you to media?

Brew! I've been working with Brooke and her team for over a year and can honestly say they KNOW what they're doing. They are uber connected (Brooke knows EVERYONE) and can get your message in the places that matter to start-ups. Any PR should pride themselves on their relationships for sure, but Brew are the experts in the digital space. It doesn't even matter that we are based in the UK - they make it work. Brooke will always tell you how it is too, no BS - very refreshing. You'd be smart to hire them.
