How do you treat a blood blister?
-
I got a blood blister after running through a parking lot barefoot. Is there a good way to treat for blood blisters?
-
Answer:
Blood blister is not a serious condition and can be treated at home. Better leave it on it's own to heal. Apply ice to the area which will help in decreasing the blister by contracting the blood vessels. 10-20 minutes are sufficient. Keep a towel in between the ice and the skin. Do not give pressure on the blister, keep bandage around it. If you see any sign of infection like redness, pain etc, consult your physician who will give you antibiotics and daily dressing is required for complete cure.
