    Well the problem is Sony SIx has the rights and they don't have a clue on how to host these things They think getting a girl and Jon Abraham will make both the guys and girls happy respectively and we will love it The fact is the Anchors are not pros at football at all Jon has a very very basic football opinion and Peter Crouch doesn't even do expert analysis as a job they have a team which has hype but no substance Their main target is those who do not watch football but only the world cup as they take us fans for granted the fact is the plastic fans come in much later in the tournament when they reach the knockout stages It was a very disappointing show

This is world cup..You gotta maintain the status and reputation...It's really sad that even in an international tournament like this the glamour world is taking over and I think the reason being there are not much passion left with the corporate world taking decisions merely led by profit...

The thing is, for the Premier League we now get the real (if I can say so) match analysis, half time show, etc. that is sponsored by the Premier League itself. This, I think, is essentially what is shown in Europe as well. Until last season we had Steve McMahon and Shebby Singh and so on make a joke of themselves in the shows by Star. The World Cup is being broadcast by Sony for us, and they've made their own pathetic show. But they have Sunil Chhetri sometimes who talks a lot of sense and improves the show
