During sleep walking, what can and can't a person do?

For example, can they remember their name? historical facts? can they do maths equations? can they tell the difference between colours? and so on...

My girlfriend always sleeps walks and talks, and its possible to have a semi-eligible conversation with her. A few weeks ago she was sleeping, and I 'woke her up' cause I'd just made dinner, but she was sleep walking/talking. She stood up, asked what it was, went downstairs and began eating, and only woke up half way through eating our dinner! I could tell she was sleep walking/talking though so just let her get on with it.
