Does any know of any projects on the computer to do in free time?

I am an EE freshman and I  have lots of free time in college . Most of the classes I'm taking are easy and I know the material, but I have to take them to fulfill requirements. Is there any productive way I can spend my time?

  • I made a mistake and didn't take more classes. Now I have a lot of free time that I just end up wasting. Since I'm a freshman , I haven't taken the EE classes that various student/competitive  projects require. Is there anything else I can do to build my skill set ?
