What is a Medical Pegboard and how hard is it to learn?

How do medical students from all over the world learn? What are the differences between different countries?

  • Answer:

In India it's mostly understanding the concepts and reading. First year is the basic sciences of Anat. Physio and Biochemistry.  From the second year we have observers hips and clinical rotations in the morning and classes and labs for Path. Micro  Pharm in the evening. So we mostly observe the stuff and then read up about it. Third year and final year is only in the hospital with cases finding, diagnosis and treatment. We go to the Clinics, the wards, and the Operating http://rooms.As far as the reading materials it's the same Harrison's and Bailey.

I'm a med student in China. Not in top med schools. We basically just recite textbooks over and over again to get through exams. Not a very good way to study medicine I admit. But we are like...have to do it that way. For example, we are due to go to teaching hospital next semester but already learning diagnosis. So we basically don't have any idea about most of the diseases in the books. There are so many of them so simply remembering them by heart instead of trying to look them up then understand the logic is much more simply.
