How do I add the "EXIF:Image:Date taken" metadata stripped out from photos taken in iPhone apps like Foursquare and Camera A?
-
P hotos taken with the iPhone Camera A app are lacking data in the "EXIF Date taken" column. EXIFer has no option to copy the file date into the EXIF date taken.
-
Answer:
Windows Live Photo Gallery can add EXIF date taken to a photo: Select photo without "EXIF Date taken" info menu Edit / Adjust time add or subtract 1 second to the time (smallest change possible) Now the photo will have an "EXIF Date taken" based on the file modified date (plus or minus one second)
