What is creative strategy development?

What are the best startups today to join for folks (with a few years of work experience) seeking business development / strategy roles?

I fully realize that this is a somewhat ridiculous question, since one should probably only join a startup if (s)he can help address its problems / challenges and if (s)he is passionate about what the startup is trying accomplish. That being said, I'm still curious as to what startups (including pre-IPO companies) the Quora community would put at the top of their list for these types of roles. Facebook? LinkedIn? Yelp?
