What are the parameters which help us to decide the quality of education?
-
Like how can we differentiate between two institutions on the basis of the quality of education they provide ? For ex. There are two institutions and we say that this particular institution is better than the other. Then what are the reasons for this ? QUALITY of education depends upon 1. How teachers teach the subject ? Or 2. How students understand it? Or 3. Does it depend upon the results of that particular institution ? Or 4. Is there any other decisive parameter?

Answer:
If we want to compare educational institutions we need to specify the kind of institution to make sure that we are comparing apples to apples. There is no point in comparing a community college to a university; they have fundamentally different missions and each has it's particular strengths and weaknesses. Once we have chosen our institution type we should compare on a limited set of criteria and let those criteria serve as an overall proxy for the "superiority" of the institution. Our criteria can be things we personally care about if we are looking for the best place to attend or they can be objective criteria if we are looking to just rank them. If we are looking to rank the schools I would suggest that some metric of student satisfaction, overall cost to attend and opportunities for extracurricular learning/development might be a good overall proxy for how good the school is. Obviously those are just three criteria I care about but I think those three criteria would be valid means of getting a ballpark rating.

Generally there are two parameters by which we differentiate various institutions 1. Board results (if it is a secondary or high school ) 2. Opening & Closing rank (admission time) & Placement Record (if its a grad school) But what actually matters 1. Campus atmosphere .(a campus must be beautiful as well as feel free for each individuals ) 2. Infrastructure and Facilities offered. 3. Quality and strength of faculty 4. Student teacher ratio . 5.Projects & Reaserch oppertunities . 6. Open atmosphere of class rooms. 7. Library quality. 8. Laboratory and Workshops. 9. And of course Quality of students . 10. Collaboration with other institutions. 11. Sports and other activities. 12. Clubs and societies . And last but not least a small percentage of divas and hunks is also important ... to boost you up ;)
