How do I transfer whatever settings of my iTunes library I need from one computer to another such that the second computer is now recognized as the "home" of my iPhone without having to erase and resync?

Answer:
No one will lose apps or other content. • make sure your iPhone is on at least iOS 5 • update iTunes on all computers. On the new computer, Sign In to your iTunes account. • Once your are signed in, you can Download all the stuff you've ever bought on to the second computer. • When you sync, you can choose which apps/songs/shows you want on your iPhone. As everything you've ever bought is now on the second/other computer, there's nothing to lose.
